Zimbabwean airline FastJet made its inaugural landing at Maun International Airport (MIA). FastJet will be operating scheduled flights between Victoria Falls and Maun 4 times a week on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Following the ceremonial water cannon salute, CAAB CEO, Dr Bao Mosinyi met with officials from FastJet and the Zimbabwe tourism sector at a media briefing and launch cocktail.
FastJet flights to Maun will be using a dual fleet model of Embraer ERJ145 aircraft and their partner’s Cessna Grand Caravan 208B.
