Sky Vision Airlines completed its first commercial flight on the 2nd of January from Sharm El-Sheikh to Cairo a month after it acquired its air operator certificate.

The first flights also come barely a month after the new airline received its first aircraft having taken delivery of its first A320-200 on December 6, 2022.

Yesterday the airline reported that it had also received its AMO certification in what it termed as the “first Egyptian airline to receive both credentials this quickly”

“This reflects the quality and excellence of our engineers and technicians. They have working experience within and outside of Egypt. This combination provides us with a unique set of skills that allowed us to achieve an excellent level of quality and maintenance,” the company said in a statement.
