Kenya Airways has grounded an aircraft following a cabin pressure insident as investigations continue. The airline has confirmed that on 12th January 2023, at around 14:40hours, KQ 606 flight on
routine flight from Nairobi to Mombasa experienced low cabin pressure.
The airline says its crew immediately declared pressurization failure emergency through air traffic control and descended to a safe altitude of 10,000 feet after briefing the passengers. Passenger oxygen masks were deployed for the safety of the passengers during the descent.
The aircraft landed safely in Mombasa.
