Ethiopian Airlines is welcoming a delegation from Denver, Colorado led by Michael B. Hancock, Mayor of City and County of Denver and that also included the Chief of Staff and the Deputy Chief of Staff of City and County of Denver, the CEO and Executives of Denver International Airport, the President and CEO of Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, and other honourable delegates.
The team visited the airlines state-of-the-art facilities and held fruitful discussions with Chairman of Ethiopian Airlines Group Management Board Mr. Girma Wake, Group CEO Mr. Mesfin Tasew and Ethiopian executive management members.
“We’re excited to welcome the high-level delegation from Denver, Colorado to Ethiopian Airlines headquarters,” Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Mr. Mesfin Tasew said.
“The city of Denver is another potential market in the US for our Airline. We would be glad to add the city to our global network in the near future after making all the necessary plans and preparations,” he added.
The trip also comes weeks after the US Export-Import Bank approved a $281 million loan to Ethiopian Airlines Group to buy Boeing passenger and cargo airplanes. Colorado is home to more than 19 aerospace companies including Boeing which has offices in Colorado Springs and Englewood.
