On October 1, 2023, the pan-African company ASKY Airlines based in Togo inaugurated a new route from Lomé-Tokoin to Nairobi (Kenya). The reception of ASKY airlines was embellished by the welcome jet of water by the firefighters of the Jomo Kenyatta airport.

Previously ASKY’s network covered some 27 destinations in 25 countries of West and Central Africa and operated 214 flights a week on its network with an average of 22 000 passengers carried per week. ASKY’s network is connected to that of its strategic partner – Ethiopian Airlines – and flight schedules are designed in such a way as to enable quick connections for passengers from Lome to the rest of the world with Ethiopian Airlines.
