TAAG Angola Airlines Double Cargo Flights to Nigeria, the Republic of Congo and South Africa

Following the airline commercial strategy, focused to empower the company footprint within the African air cargo market, TAAG Angola Airlines has doubled its regular cargo services, now offering two weekly frequencies to Lagos (LOS) in Nigeria, Brazzaville (BZV) in the Republic of Congo, and Johannesburg (JNB) in South Africa.

TAAG is capitalizing on the freighter B737-800BCF (Boeing Converted Freighter) incorporated into its fleet. It can transport up to 24 tons of cargo, with 11 pallet positions that accommodate 10 contoured 96in x 125in pallets.

The airline upgraded the service levels, providing now more than 100 tons of cargo capacity each week, on the Luanda/Johannesburg connection and more than 45 tons, on the Luanda-Lagos-Brazzaville route.

The regular cargo flight schedule is updated as follows:

  •     ●Luanda-Lagos-Brazzaville route has now, two weekly frequencies, departing from Angola on Tuesday and Thursday.
  •     ●Luanda- Johannesburg route has now, two weekly frequencies, departing from Angola on Wednesday and Saturday.

The cargo business is strategic for TAAG Angola Airlines playing a key role in promoting the Luanda hub, and the New Luanda International Airport, as an infrastructure of reference in African import/export circuits.
