The Somalia Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed that a Halla Airline operated Embraer E120 crash landed on Runway 05 at Aden Adde International Airport today at 12.23pm Local time.
The aircraft with a total of 34 passengers on board is seen touching down accurately before veering off the runway before it was stopped by the perimeter fence according to videos circulating online.

The Somalia Civil Aviation Authority together with UNSOS personnel and firefighters, Security Forces and ATMIS officers, swiftly responded to an aircraft accident at Aden Abdulle Airport.
The authority also confirms that all on board were evacuated safely with no fatality although some passengers experienced minor injuries.
The authority has said a preliminary report will be released once the current investigations conclude.
