TAAG Angola Airlines is deeply committed to empowering Luanda as a key hub within the region, thus facilitating intra-Africa connections. Within this scope, the airline will be adding new frequencies to high-demand destinations, namely Cape Town (South Africa), São Tomé Island (Island of São Tomé and Príncipe) and Brazzaville (Republic of Congo) from September 2, 2024.
Update flight frequencies, departing from Luanda:
- Cape Town (CPT): Increases from 7 to 9 weekly frequencies, with double-daily flights on Wednesday and Saturday, and one connection on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.
- São Tome Island (TMS): Increases from 2 to 3 weekly frequencies, departing on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- Brazzaville (BZV): Increases from 1 to 2 weekly frequencies, departing on Wednesday and Sunday, day-flight exclusively.
Further to increasing frequencies, TAAG performed a comprehensive optimization on the network overall, by introducing frequencies/connections on days not covered before, redefining departure/arrival time, to ease connection flights across domestic, regional, and intercontinental links, reducing the time between connections, and mitigate overnight layover. Overall, TAAG provides passengers with greater connectivity and customer experience, optimizing the interconnection within the network, meaning domestic, regional, and intercontinental flights.
