Minister of Transport and Aviation of the Federal Government of Somalia, MP. Fardowsa Osmaan Cigaal and Ethiopia’s Minister of Transport of Ethiopia Dagmawit Moges have signed the agreement between the air service (ASA) between Somalia and Ethiopia to be reformed which started in practice on 3rd December 1988.

The agreement will be compromised at the moment, with changes to improve the coalition between the two countries on Transport and Aviation.

“This 1988 agreement was already signed, since it’s been 35 years we need to find a modern agreement that can be compatible with this century.” The Minister of Transport and Air Aviation XFS, MP. Fardowsa said.

“This agreement will improve our cooperation and experience sharing between transport and air aviation.” Fardowsa added.

The Minister of Transport of Ethiopia congratulated the development of Somalia in the areas of transport and air aviation adding that the reforming of this agreement will help the cooperation between the two countries.
