Eswatini Air Could Commence Flights by April

Eswatini Air has said it hopes to commence flights on March 26th after receiving landing and departure slots a O.R Tambo International Airport, King Shaka International Airport and Cape Town International Airport in South Africa and Harare International Airport in Zimbabwe.

Eswatin Air says it has already received codes for air identification from International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) with the two codes applicable being SZL as the 3 letter designator and Eswatini as the telephony designator.

The airline has also been assigned airline codes by International Air Transport Association (IATA) with RN being the designated IATA 2 letter code while the digit accounting prefix will be 507.

The airline also reports it has received the foreign operating permit in Zimbabwe while that for South Africa is still in progress. This is after receiving the air operator license with several preparatory and post AOC actions having being initiated.

The airline plans to commence flights in one destination before expanding to other routes.
