Morocco Airports to Eliminate Double Screening before June 2025

An additional step has just been taken to improve flow at Morocco’s airports. Double screening at the departure and arrival of international passengers, which required travelers to present their passports a second time after affixing the entry stamp, was eliminated this weekend at Casablanca Mohammed V Airport.

This development was made possible thanks to the installation of automatic gates, allowing for faster and more secure screening. This measure was made possible through the combined efforts of teams from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the Immigration and Border Surveillance Directorate at the Ministry of the Interior, and the National Agency for International Development (ONDA).

With this modernization, passengers will benefit from a more seamless border crossing, thus reducing queues and improving the travel experience. This measure will be gradually extended to all airports in the Kingdom before the summer season, as each airport infrastructure is equipped with these new devices.

ONDA says the objective remains to combine efficiency and security by adopting advanced technological solutions to support the growth in international air traffic while ensuring optimal border control.
